Event Description:
The 35th Annual Escapees Dessert Auction to support the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 3:00 pm, at the Activity Center building. Donate your best baked goods to help raise money for the Fire Department, or see how much you can bid on your favorite dessert! All money raised during the auction goes to the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department.
The fundraiser for the Fire Department is part of the annual Escapees Octoberfest event. The event opens at 10am with an Octoberfest Market including local businesses and vendors offering handmade crafts; followed by the Dessert Auction in the afternoon; and closing with a fun evening of music, food and beer garden. The event is open to the public, and is sponsored by the Escapees CARE Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides the only Day Activities and Health Services (Adult Day Care) in Polk County.
