Livingston Swing Big Band Concert

The "Livingston Swing Big Band" will be in concert on April 9th at the First Baptist Church of Livingston. This free concert will feature Two professional musicians. One id Mr. Gary Weldon, Trumpeter from Houston and Mr. Travis Harris, Trombonnest, from the Denton area. We will be playing from the Big Band Era, 1935 to 1945. Both of our guest have played with musical greats as; Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, The Temptatins, Natalie Cole, Willie Nelson, John Denver, Linda Ronatadt, Ray Charles, Robert Goulet, Mel Torme, Lou Rawls, Andy Williams , Dionne Warwick, Johnny Mathis, Cab Callaway, and many more. The band will be playing such tunes as; When I Fall in Love, The Way We Were, Sugar Blues, I've Got Rhythm, Fascinating Rhythm, The Nearness of You, Hooked on a Feeling, How About You, Charade, Stardust, Moon Glow, Let the Good Times Roll , and many more.
