Polk County Summer Celebration 2026

Join us for the Polk County Democratic Summer Celebration on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Polk County Commerce Center in Livingston.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $50 each.

Co-hosted by the Polk County Democratic Party and the Democratic Club of Polk County Texas, with Richard Burr, Club President, and Carolyn Bischoff, County Chair.

This year’s celebration brings together local Democrats, candidates, and community members for an evening of dinner, fellowship, civic engagement, and support for the work ahead in Polk County and across Texas.

This year’s program features:

James Talarico, candidate for U.S. Senate, with a special video message

Clayton Tucker, candidate for Texas Agriculture Commissioner

Caitlin Rourk, candidate for Congress in TX-10, veteran, and mom

Ida Bencomo, candidate for Polk County Clerk

The evening will include dinner and program speakers, with the silent auction and wine bar available throughout the event. Our favorite tradition, the cake auction, will close out the evening.
