Event Description:
Polk CIA and Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council are partnering with local law enforcement agenys and the DEA to host National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Local Law Enforcement will collect expired or unused tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs. Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps or illicit drugs. This is a safe way to discard your unused or expired prescription drugs. Local organizations will be on hand with resources and information.
